Scarning Conservation Volunteers work in conjunction with Scarning Parish Council to improve the area of land between Scarning and Dereham known as Scarning Water Meadows. The aims are to (i) control the rank growth of weeds to enable natural water meadow plants the chance to flourish and (ii) to encourage wildlife by improving the habitat and (iii) to make the area a pleasant place for the recreational use of residents and visitors to Scarning.
